IBG at the 24th Golden Cup, Taiwan 🍹
The 24th Golden Cup, one of the most prestigious Taiwan bartending competitions, was held at the iconic Kaohsiung Grand Hotel, Taiwan. The event was organised by the Bartenders Association Taiwan in association with the International Bartenders Association (IBA), bringing together the global bartending community on one world-class platform.
The competition saw over 665 competitors across 20+ categories, with an audience of more than 1,800 spectators. Over 50+ universities and colleges participated, making the Golden Cup a true celebration of talent, education, and professional global bartending excellence at both national and international levels.
India on the International Stage
The India Bartenders Guild (IBG) proudly represented India with three competitors in the International Flair and Classic categories, competing alongside bartenders from 15+ countries. This marked India’s second representation at the 24th Golden Cup, reaffirming IBG’s global presence and recognition in the international bartending community.
India delivered an impressive performance, securing three Bronze Medals at the International Cocktail Competition, highlighting the skill, creativity, and competitiveness of Indian bartenders at an international level.
IBG’s Global Leadership
Archit Singhal, President of the India Bartenders Guild, served as a Technical Judge in the International Classic Category and facilitated the Student Category Award Ceremony. His participation reflected India’s increasing leadership in shaping global bartending standards.
