Achieving the Highest Distinction in Bartending Excellence
The Certified Professional Bartender (CPB®) designation is a nationally recognized, rigorous professional credential offered by the IBG Academy for existing bartenders and managers and hospitality professionals. It Involves study IBG Bartenders Manual and conduct an in person assessment at IBG Designated Center for 1 hour of Theory and 30 mins of practical demonstration. Upon successful submission of your experience and job references – the candidate will be provided with IBG Bartender Batch and IBG Pin along with Certification. The Candidate can use CPB title after their name in their official communication to signify their achievement. Each CPB will go for an annual Professional Conduct review to renew charter status and nominal dues to continue their charter holder status.

How to Earn the CPB Charter
To achieve the CPB designation, candidates must:
- Register and receive the study material to your location
- Study the Bartenders Manual and supporting materials
- Book a examination slot at IBG Designated Centre
- Achieve 75 percent CPB Multiple Choice Questions with subjective questions in Person with Examiner
- Complete Practical Assessment
- Submit minimum one-year relevant work experience
- Earn your Professional Bartender Badge, Pin & Certification
